Hydration First:

We teach our patients how to monitor water intake specifically for the Summer heat, preventing the crystallization that forms stones.

The “Silent” Screen:

Many stones don’t hurt until they move. Our Master Health Checkups use advanced Ultrasound to find “Silent Stones” before they cause an emergency.

Metabolic Analysis:

We don’t just remove the stone; our lab analyzes it to see if it’s calcium, uric acid, or struvite, providing you a custom diet plan to stop them from coming back.

At KMC, we have moved beyond “Open Surgery.” Our Endourology suite allows us to treat stones of any size with minimal discomfort.

Laser Lithotripsy (RIRS):

Physician uses a thin, flexible scope that travels through natural pathways. A Holmium Laser then turns the stone into fine dust, which passes out naturally.

PCNL (For Large Stones):

For very large “Staghorn” stones, we use a tiny “keyhole” entry in the back (less than 1cm) to remove the stone directly.

Ureteroscopy (URS):

For stones stuck in the urinary tube, we provide immediate relief by fragmenting the stone and restoring urine flow instantly.

The Experience:

Most procedures are done under regional anesthesia, meaning you are comfortable and pain-free throughout the 30–60 minute process.

Our goal is “Day-Care” recovery, ensuring you spend less time in the hospital and more time at home.

Day-Care Discharge:

Many laser stone patients walk in the morning and are discharged by evening.
